The location was just perfect, right near Rambla with lots of good eats and shops. We enjoyed chilling at Bar Eleven, but prices were a bit high. Our check-in was a mess, super long wait and temp issues in the room. Overall, a decent stay for the price during peak season.

our stay at nh collection barcelona gran hotel calderon was delightful from the moment we arrived. the rooftop swimming pool with 360º views and the fantastic breakfast buffet truly made our experience special. the hotel is conveniently located near la pedrera and casa batllo, making sightseeing easy. the staff even made sure our dog felt welcome with a bed and toy, which we really appreciated.

The Premium Double or Twin Room XL offered ample space and was well-equipped, making for a comfortable stay. Staff members, especially Margherita at the reception, were exceptionally friendly and attentive, adding a personal touch to the experience. However, the TV in our room was not a SMART TV, limiting our entertainment options. Additionally, the balcony lacked proper lighting and furniture, rendering it less usable. Clearer communication regarding the mandatory deposit at check-in would also have improved the experience.
